Weekly review

08 May

Happy Friday, folks!  And it certainly has been one for me, except that my sales team didn’t seem to be meeting our goal for today, but they pulled off a few incredible days earlier this week, so I came home satisfied.  Here’s a little recap of what is happening in the kidlitosphere these days:

  • Abby (the) Librarian dotes on YA novel “Will Grayson, Will Grayson” and its author David Levithan
  • Jules at 7-Imp chats with author Mina Javaherbin about her beautifully written and illustrated picture book “Goal!” (published by one of my faves, Candlewick Press!)
  • A contributor for Guys Lit Wire shares his opinion on the up-and-coming availability of electronic comics
  • Random Noodling hosts the Poetry Friday round-up!
  • Smokewood Entertainment will be starting production in August for a Judy Moody movie! (Don’t worry, there will be more to come about this crazy girl)
